Ryan is a Ph.D. student from Oakland, California studying American history with an emphasis on irregular warfare, grand strategy, and the Cold War. In his free time, Ryan is a research intern at the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library and co-host of the history radio show, “Archives on the Airwaves.”
