Bio:
I am a first-year Ph.D. student from Rochester, New York, specializing in the American Civil War. My research focuses on the critical roles of women and people of color in the Union war effort. I have also studied American military history more broadly, with particular emphasis on the Civil War and World War II. I earned my B.A. in History from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania, in 2025.
