I am a MA student from Birmingham, Alabama. I received my bachelor's degree at Samford University in May 2025. My primary academic focus is on the antebellum South. I am interested in the impact Classicism played on forming southern identity throughout the antebellum period. Alongside an interest in the antebellum South, I am intrigued by 19th century America as a whole.
