I received my undergraduate degree in History from the University of St. John’s in Collegeville, Minnesota. Here at Mississippi State, I’ll be working towards a Master's degree in US History with a focus on the US Civil War. Outside of studying/reading history books, I spend my time watching sports – I’m a fiend for College Football and also enjoy baseball. I also spend time diving into my decent Blu-ray collection of films, mostly historical epics and westerns, as well as The Lord of the Rings. Additionally, I own most of Tolkien's Legendarium and read them over the summers. After my time at MSU, I hope to secure a position as a high school history teacher, teaching US History, and also work on the side as an assistant football coach.
