I am a PhD student currently living in Grant, Alabama.  I retired from the United States Air Force after a 25-year career as an Air Force pilot, staff officer, and unit commander.  My assignments included tours on the staff at US Forces Korea and US Special Forces Command.  I completed several deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of Special Forces Command and commanding conventional flying units.  I intend to center my studies on War, Power and International Affairs (WPIA) focusing on US foreign policy and strategic decision-making.
