Jackson Parrish

Graduate Assistant

Bio

I am a second-year graduate student in the field of history, working to earn my master’s degree and eventually pursue a doctorate. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University of Meridian. Following that I taught middle school for a year, but now I am back at Mississippi State. My interest is in the creation of a mass culture in the late 19th and early 20th century and the culture surrounding alcohol consumption at that time.
