Bio

I am a Ph.D. student from Knoxville, Tennessee, studying US cultural and intellectual history. My current project focuses on punk rock, race, and political extremism in the eighties and nineties, with an eye to how punk musicians mixed irony and sincerity to advance a variety of extremist political agendas.
